Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
Community Action Partners (CAP) respects the privacy of people who visit communityactionpartners.org and use CAP forms. This notice describes information CAP may receive through its website. Different forms ask for different information, and third-party services have their own privacy notices.
Information CAP may collect
Depending on the form or request, CAP may receive your name, email address, phone number, city, mailing address, organization name and website, and information you choose to provide in a message. Volunteer and prayer-interest forms may collect contact details and participation interests. A partner or funding request form may ask about an organization, its mission, a requested amount, and how funds would be used. Please do not submit sensitive personal, health, financial, or identifying information about yourself or another person in an open message field.
How CAP uses information
CAP uses submitted information to receive and respond to inquiries, manage volunteer or prayer-warrior interest, review partner or funding requests, coordinate participation, and maintain organizational records. Sending a request does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email or text messages. CAP will use a separate, clear opt-in for promotional updates. Where you provide contact details and request a response, CAP may contact you about that request.
Service providers, payments, and disclosures
CAP uses GoHighLevel/LeadConnector to host and process website forms and CRM information. Form notifications may be sent to [email protected]. CAP may use providers to operate its website, forms, email, and related services. If you choose to make a donation through a third-party payment service, that provider may collect and process payment details under its own terms and privacy notice. CAP may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, the website, or CAP's rights.
Cookies and technical information
The website and its hosting or form services may use cookies or similar technologies for site functionality, security, or measurement. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work as intended if they are blocked. Review any separate cookie notice or settings shown on a page.
Retention and privacy requests
CAP retains submitted information as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain organizational records, and meet legal obligations. To ask about accessing, correcting, or deleting information you submitted, email [email protected]. CAP will review the request and explain if information must be kept for a legal or organizational recordkeeping reason.
Children's privacy
CAP's forms are intended for people age 13 and older. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through them. CAP does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 through these forms. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact [email protected] to request review and deletion.
Security and third-party links
CAP uses reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee that information transmitted or stored online will always be secure. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Review any separate notice presented by a payment or other third-party service before using it.
Changes and contact
CAP may update this notice as its website and practices change. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes. Questions or privacy requests: [email protected].
